I love daisies, they are one of my favorite flowers. In full bloom at the Dogtown Community Flower Garden. Love it!

Sisters photo shoot

Sisters who I have known since they were very young  asked me to do a photo shoot of them as a gift to their Mom for Mother's Day.  

We took a trip down to Busch Stadium for a sports theme since their Mom is a sports nut!  I had a great time with the girls and they were so cooperative and fun.  I think they had a good time too.

It also gave me a chance to get some more time in with my Canon 85mm 1.2 and the fisheye 15mm.  These were the only 2 lenses I used this day. 

 Instead of just prints for their Mom we also put together a book since there were so many great shots expressing their personality!   Mom loved it!

My Niece's wedding, Alabama Coast

We had such a wonderful time in Alabama attending my niece's wedding.  She had asked me to take her pictures and of course I said yes!  I tried to capture the events from a journalistic point of view.  It was a wonderful experience and made me feel good to give her something nice to remember forever.

A day at the Knickmeyer's Farm

My Dad and I went out for a visit to the Knickeyer's place.  What wonderful friends they are.  It's always exciting to see what' happening on their farms!  Dad had a good time and we had a nice lunch.

Sugaree Baking Co in Dogtown - Engagement!

Pat had asked me on a whim if I would like to come back to her bakery about 8pm that night to photograph the events of an engagement happening outside her front window and involving a cake she had baked.

Of course I said yes!  What a wonderful time it was!

 

Flora Jane's Baptism

 I had so much fun shooting my Great Niece's Baptism this spring.  The baptism was held in the beautiful St Francis Xavier College Church in St Louis.  This was my first time shooting an event like this and I was pretty happy with the results!
